Can cataracts cause a “lazy” eye? Yes! When a Can cataracts cause a “lazy” eye?  Yes! When a cataract has caused poor vision for a long time it can make the eye wander. This is called strabismus or squint. It can improve or resolve completely after removing the cataract.

Completed our inaugural monthly trip to Puerto Pen Completed our inaugural monthly trip to Puerto Penasco, hosted by Rocky Point Medical Clinic. On our first day, we examined and prepared 10 blind patients with advanced cataracts for future surgery. Hoping to bring much needed services to this beautiful community. Grateful to all the students and volunteer physicians providing ongoing care. #globalhealth #cataractsurgery
